Eugenics & Prohibition are tiring me.

It seems like everything is coming up. I gotta read up on Eugenics & Prohibition. Luckily "Our Own Master Race" by Angus McLaren is extremely comprehensive for Eugenics. Don't think I'll have time to get the other book I was planning to use "Keeping America Sane:Psychiatry and Eugenics in the United States and Canada 1880-1940 by Ian Robert Dowbiggen. "Our Own Master Race" really laid it out for Eugenics in Canada and how it related to Eugenics in North America overall.

The Prohibition stuff is more spread out in what's needed to read. You got the rum runners & all the Temperance movements that have quite detailed histories available. It's all laid out fairly well but it's a lot to go through. My course is for post Canadian History but a lot of early Temperance stuff happened pre-Confederation. Most provinces joined at different years too. It complicates pre/post Confederation Canadian History a lot but I'm enjoying it.

WoW. This was a dull post
Happy B-day to the one who stalks these word....I like to call the Blogker... hah hah
