Michael Jackson R.I.P.

say what you will about all the allegations and his eccentricities. The truth is that Michael Jackson literally spent his entire life entertaining the people of the world. Along the way, he performed extremely memorable, well written music perhaps only rivaled by the Beatles in cultural influence, He changed the discipline of dance and made several others interested in learning to perform because of his inspiration, and his music videos greatly influenced film as a medium. He was more than a performer. He was a living cultural icon and ambassador that was embraced by the world. Unfortunately, worldwide celebrity brought those interested in tainting his name and reputation as a person. He was eccentric but who wouldn't be if you were famous basically since you were born.
I still remember seeing all his videos, watching performances and interviews on TV, reading about him in magazines, playing games like Moonwalker, and loving that he too loved everything Disney like myself. Rest in Peace Michael. I hope you've found some peace in afterlife since it eluded you so much while you were on this Earth.

P.S. Ed McMahon also died this week, how could you forget his trademark line of "Heeeeeeere's Johnny, especially after Kubrick, Nicholson and "The Shining", and also today Farrah Fawcett of "Charlie's Angels" fame with her legendary haircut and long string of TV and film roles
