I just realized that the morning after tomorrow morning I'll be traveling to Regina, Saskatchewan. It's the city of my birth and there's a whole section of my mom's side of the family that still lives there. As I mentioned before, primary reason for going is to see my Aunt that has Lung Cancer. It has actually been a decade since I've been to Regina. I grew up mostly in Vancouver, B.C.
Whenever I say home while traveling, I mean Vancouver. Not that there isn't anything that ties me to Regina. Family members still being there keeps Regina in my mind. At least in reference to family members and family friends that live there. When I think of the city where I formed my worldview, it is Vancouver.
Just a bit of Trivia for people. There's a neighboring city about 40 minutes outside of Regina named Moose Jaw. In that city you can find this below. Yeah, pretty freakin random and Amazingly awesome in the weirdest way possible. Obviously this pic isn't from personal images but I have been there and done what the guy is doing. They're just in photo albums and I'm not about to dig and scan one just for a post.
Don't know if I'll do any posts while in Regina but I'm not thinking about it even though I'll likely have access to computers at homes of various relatives. Guess I'm gonna say Later now. If I don't post while in Regina, I will post once I'm back on the 14th of June, 2009
