The city of Vancouver is going to be absolutely crazy all this week and next.
I started going to the different pavilions starting on Saturday, Feb. 13.
I've got a 2 week break because of the Olympics. I am going to catch up
on readings and finish up a second draft of an essay for Shakespeare class
but It would be foolish to ignore all the festivities going on around the city
I live in at the moment. I've been going out every afternoon and coming
back around 9pm basically everyday since the games started.
I've been collecting collectible pins from different pavilions lately. Wasn't able to
get any today despite going to a pavilion that had some ultra exclusive
pins for answering some questions during an audience participation
show. What can I say. I don't care enough to show that much enthusiasm
amid festive madness, hah hah.
I'm sure that I've just bored all of you by talking about collectible commemorative pins. How much geekier can I get? Actually a whole lot. I'm just somewhat disgusted by people geekier than myself. Does that make me hypocritical? Yeah. Do I care? Not really.
that being said. Big Congrats to Alexandre Bilodeau for being the first Canadian to win Olympic Gold in Canada, Jennifer Heil - you were robbed at the last second in the female version of Alexandre's discipline, and today, Mike Robertson, You should of had gold. That American Seth Wescott only nudged in front of you at the absolute last second. It was a photo finish in my opinion for the snowboard-cross
later
