I've been a movie fiend this week. Saw Baby Mama first. Funny but a l'il slow in the middle.
The Forbidden Kingdom with Jackie Chan and Jet-li was surprisingly quite fun. I think it falls
just short of something really memorable. The gimmick of a white kid basically falling into a Kung-fu movie kind of bothers me. It could have worked just as well with an all Asian cast.
Iron Man - Just go freakin watch this movie. It's the one of the best Superhero movies in a while. It's the best summer blockbuster in a while too. It delivers fun yet it doesn't feel dumbed down at all. Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark as far as I'm concerned. The humor throughout the movie really helps the audience relate to Tony pre-Iron man & afterwards. All the supporting characters & actors are great too. I love the origin and suit testing sequences in this. Jon Favreau really delivered. All right, done with my latest movie addicted rant. here's some pix from these flicks
