What's up...
I know that I have a grand readership of less than zero but I just gotta talk about my visit to the X-mansion, home of the X-men. It's on this great piece of land with lots of greenery by the ocean. It's every bit as spectacular as it looks on film. Nightcrawler freaked me out by "bamf"ing to greet me & Wolverine freaked me out with all of his snikts while sculpting topiaries...
Alright, Alright... I went to this place in Victoria B.C. called Hatley Castle. It was used as the X-mansion in the second & third "X-men" movies and is Lex Luthor's Smallville mansion on "Smallville"
It was a hot & sunny day when I went there. It really is a spectacular piece of architecture. There's a fountain at the base of the back of the mansion that isn't visible in the pix. There were some Korean students being hilarious with peace sign pic posing that day. I wasn't able to get any pics in the rear patio area of the castle since there was a private function cutting into the public access time when I went. Here's 3 pics that I took with my cell phone. I'll put up a few more from the digital camera when I get the time. The X-mansion is real & it's Astonishing and Uncanny, hah hah...I love all things X-men
