I'm full, how are you today

I don't usually talk about my weight but I bubble up when my level of
activity goes down. It has always been a problem when I'm on break.
I don't know why but I end up fairly sedentary when I get breaks. There
isn't any reason to go out so I don't. I like watching movies and video games
so I end up doing that. I keep in mind too that I'm not always welcome to go
along with other people around me when they go out. I end up having to
consciously go for long walks without really anywhere to go. I don't really
have any problem with weight when I have reason to go out regularly.
It maintains itself even if I keep the same eating habits. I do try to lower
how much I eat when I'm on breaks but sometimes even the food at home
or outside is too much with the decreased activity. I don't like being self
conscious. It usually feels more like societal self loathing rather than a
critical evaluation of myself. I want to keep up with at least 3000 steps
per day (that I can keep up with my phone that has a pedometer) more
if possible. I've noticed that I don't get tired really until about 5000 +
steps a day. I have broken 8000+ a day while out of town on vacation.
That's expected though with places to go to and people to see. You're
always on your feet.

This is just a little op-ed to end things off. I really think that the abundance
of car use has really led to heavier weights of people across the board. In
some places such as Houston, Texas (saw in a documentary), they don't
even have sidewalks in residential areas. People need to drive to get to
those community mailboxes with keys. What's that about. When you have
to drive to do something as simple as getting the mail, there's something
wrong with society. If anything, I think that people need to dramatically
lessen use of personal vehicles. Cities need to improve service, costs, and
pleasantness of public transit so that stigmas against transit subside.
It's ridiculous how many people think that it's absolutely rational to think
that just because they have their car, why go on the bus or train. I just
think that the car is and has been one of the most dysfunctional inventions
of all time. We've restructured our societies because of it. Fuel efficiency
and alternate fuels should of been introduced at least 25-30 years ago.

that must be painful enough to read. until next time.
