Wayne Allwine passed away on the 19th of May. This shocked me, and put me into a small funk for most of today the (May 20th) I'm sure a lot of people are unaware of the cultural impact that this man has had over pop culture. That image behind him should tell you all that you need to know. He was the current voice of none other than Mickey Mouse. He's been doing the voice of Mickey since the 1983 release "Mickey's Christmas Carol" (A personal favorite Flick of mine) Basically any time you heard Mickey in new films, shows, attractions, merchandise etc. it was him providing Mickey's unmistakeable voice. He's been possibly the best Mickey since Walt Disney himself voiced the role. He will be missed by many an animation fan, but really, anybody that's ever watched Mickey before and after 1983.
