a Minor UPdate aka FML

I was in writing Fury from Saturday all the way up to Monday morning before my class.
Yeah, the writing was for monday morning. I've got something else to write for Thursday but I'm not sweating it. I'll start and likely finish that tomorrow.

I have an open wound on my ummm...ASS. I'll be spending part of my afternoons, at least into December, going in for dressing changes. That's my FML 4 U all

I should start generating a Birthday/Christmas list too.
Not to mention. November = Term paper month. I don't even know the deets for some of the upcoming ones yet.

I had a Critical Theory midterm today. It's an English course where we read works criticizing and articulating ideologies that have become prominent in Literature. It's pretty interesting. It's my Monday + Wednesday class. I might have misquoted Nietzsche this morning. I get another FML 4 that 1

Oh, and my DVD copy of The Lion King is now randomly damaged. I really like that movie. FML again.

I can't wait for UP to be on DVD + Blu-ray. I say that cuz my bro is gonna get the Blu-ray version that also has a copy of the DVD version. Best of both worlds indeed. UP is probably my favorite movie of the year thus far. U don't know about the beginning of this movie. All I'll say is that it's sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. The whole movie is alternately sweet, funny, and heartbreaking. See it if you haven't. PIXAR does not disappoint.

(p.s. It's the morning after I wrote this post. There are these awesome new Art Deco style posters about UP that just came out to promote the DVD + Blu-ray release next week. check out the link)

  1. We just bought our first HDTV and Blu-ray player this week, and we decided to buy a Blu-ray movies to try out the HDTV ( We haven't set up an appointment with the cable company yet to get the cable box needed for HD channels ). Anyway, we decided to get the movie UP on Blu-ray. We tried to watch it in a theater when it first came out, but the kids got so rowdy we had to leave the theater right after the scene where they meet Dug. So, I finally got to watch the whole movie. I agree with you about the sequence in the beginning. I have to admit I teared up a bit while watching it, even though I already knew it was coming.
